Meet Julia!
Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) has been fortunate to have a long history of partnership with Jesuit Volunteer Corps. This year, Julia shares a house with six other young adults in Atlanta while beginning her year of service at MAC totally remotely! Learn more about Julia and her journey below:
Hi my name is Julia, and I’m this year’s Jesuit Volunteer working at MAC!
I was born and raised in New York City. I attended undergrad at Boston College, studying psychology. I have two sisters, one of whom was a JV ’15-’16 in New Orleans. I decided to apply JVC after hearing about her wonderful experience living with her community and working for her organization, Cafe Reconcile. When choosing my placement, I felt connected to MAC and inspired by its mission to prevent individuals from experiencing homelessness.
I strongly believe in MAC’s mission and cannot wait to begin working here! I am so happy I got placed at MAC and am so happy to be a part of MAC and Atlanta’s community.
